Samuel Orschlet, MSc, MSc

Samuel Orschlet has gained experience in various areas during his studies and internships, with a particular focus on zoology and vegetation ecology. His primary interest lies in vascular plants and birds, specifically examining their interactions within the context of intensified and expanding agricultural practices. His professional work includes field mapping with a focus on vegetation, habitat types, herpetology, and ornithology. Additionally, he is responsible for preparing nature assessment reports, coding in R, and working with GIS. In his spare time, he engages in nature conservation activities and participates in excursions and seminars to deepen his knowledge of Austrian flora and fauna. Since joining TB Raab in April 2024, he has been eager to apply his skills to meaningful projects and contribute to shaping a sustainable future.
